Scanography is a way of making images with a flatbed scanner instead of a camera. Flowers are laid on the glass and recorded in one slow pass of light, with no lens. Whatever touches the glass comes out sharp, and whatever lifts away falls softly into shadow.
-
Yes. Every image starts with real flowers, petals, and stems placed directly on the scanner glass. Nothing is drawn or traced, so each print holds the true size, texture, and veins of the plant it came from.
